Symposium-Sustainable Agriculture- From theory to action
Global population is expected to reach 10 billion by 2050. This means that enough food will need to be produced for all by then.This symposium aims at analysing the challenges and problems of the global food production system but also identifying potential local solutions.The programme includes theoretical talks with a moderated debate at the end.

Although we are facing global challenges often solutions are constructed from the bottom through local initiatives. Therefore, workshops will be offered to further discuss topics such as gene-editing, urban gardening, gender-issues in agriculture, seed development etc…
